Make your list (and their content may be discussed here too, of course, so that this wouldn't become just a series of lists.)
What happens to you every single time you watch this film?
Every time I watch The Lion King, I...
...am moved by the moment all the animals bow down to their future king, who is yet nothing more but an infant.
...wish that Zazu was an eagle, so that during the stampede he could pick Simba up from the tree and fly him to Mufasa. 'Zazu, help me!' - ARGH! I hate hearing that, knowing he can't.
...wish that Mufasa's leg didn't get caught in a wilderbeest horn.
...wish that somehow Mufasa got the same super powers Simba got in the end, as he was hanging on the cliff. (Simba literally flew.)
[And I'm literally half waiting for those to happen despite of knowing they won't.]
...am affected by the moment when they show close-up of Mufasa's horrified eyes and then Scar throwing him off with a close-up of his claws.
...get teary-eyed when Simba tries to wake the dead Mufasa. All his gestrues, espressions and words are heart-breaking. Especially the last bit when he pulls on Mufasa's ear like he used to, and thus, with no repsonse, realizes there's nothing he can do. Sometimes I downright weep.
...get chills at the moment Scar tells Simba to run away, far away and never return. But only in Finnish dubbing. Our actor charges the line with much more intensity than Jeremy Irons, even though he's good too.
...have to say out loud some of the lines as they say them in the film.
...am delighted by the beautiful colour world, special effects and atmosphere of the animation.
...stare in fascination especially at the Mufasa's Ghost scene, which dialogue either never fails to move me.
...wish there was more scenes with Mufasa and cub Simba.
...at the end, wish it didn't end.
